assessment
IGCSE:
✧ IGCSE uses a set of a 8-point evaluation mechanism (from A + to G) to assess students’ academic performance
✧ Students have to pass at least 5 core courses (level C or above)
✧ For students who pass 7 subjects or above (i.e. A+ to C level), the Cambridge University Examination Committee provides an International Education Certificate (IEC)

IB:
✧ There are both internal examinations and external assessments (global unified examinations). School test scores are included in the student's expected grades (Predicted Grade)

AL:
✧ Students take the exam twice in two years, and there is a chance to make up for the exam in the first year. The A-LEVEL test will have different test papers according to different subjects, and the final score in percentage will be converted into A *, A, B, etc.

SAT/AP:
✧ Students can take the test once a year. The test takes a 5-point system. Generally, a score with more than 3 points can be exchanged for university credit.

DSE:
✧ Most school candidates study 4 core subjects (Chinese Language, English Language, Mathematics and General Education) and 2 to 3 elective subjects. The subject grade is divided into 7 levels (levels 1 to 5**). Among the candidates, the best performer will receive a "5**", and the subsequent better performance will be marked with "5*".
challenges
IGCSE:
✧ The course content is very extensive. Students need to participate in a minimum of 5 courses and a maximum of 14 courses, covering the whole syllabus of the secondary school education. It is not easy for students to master more difficult concepts in a short time. This results in poor academic performance in their school.

IB:
✧ Not every student can take the IB diploma exam. The school advises students to choose Certificate or Diploma based on their internal school test results. Diploma exams are required to progress to a top-notch university.
✧ IB places great emphasis on internal examinations. All are included in the student's expected grade (Predicted Grade). The expected results determine whether the university will grant a conditional offer.
✧ Learning Knowledge Theory Course (TOK) is an interdisciplinary course, which needs to cultivate students' judgment, inductive analysis and expression skills, which is very different from the traditional high school courses.
✧ Students must complete Extended Essay. In a self-selected discipline, use the classroom and daily life knowledge to conduct research, write a four-thousand-word essay, and require a dissertation which is similar to a university one.

AL:
✧ Compared with IB courses, A-level course design is more traditional, but the requirement of each subject is demanding. Moreover, the curriculum design and the ability required are different from the Chinese NCEE.
✧ A-LEVEL also has five different examination broads. Most Chinese candidates would choose CIE and EDEXCEL Broad. Among them, CIE is the most difficult one.

SAT/AP:
✧ Among all major international examinations, AP is the most difficult one in terms of the knowledge required for each subject. Among AP subjects, biology, calculus, chemistry, economics, psychology, history, etc. are the first-year courses of the university. In some language subjects, such as French and German, the syllabus is equivalent to the content of similar subjects which are taught for three semesters in university.

DSE:
✧ It is not difficult to pass the exam, but it is very difficult to get six 5* (total of 36 points), which is the bottom line for entering the best disciplines (medical school, law school, global finance) in top universities
solution
IGCSE:
✧ Many of our co-workers are experts in the UK examination system. They have a deep understanding of the key content of each subject and the questioning approach in the public examination. They can help students master core knowledge of each subject in the shortest time, with less effort and better results

IB:
✧ For various school tests and internal examinations, we are students' private tutors and we are fully committed to assisting them to achieve good results in various assessment modes.
✧ In addition to the written test, the IB course focuses on research reports and oral presentations in the classroom. During this learning process, our teachers are peers of our classmates, who are instructed to inspire them to complete their coursework and report writing skills.
✧ In preparing the Theory of Knowledge Course (TOK ) and Graduation Thesis (Extended Essay), Our role acts as the topic advisor, assisting students in formulating their thesis framework and the data research, and the presentation skills
AL:
✧ Most of our teachers have taken the A-Level course, and have more than ten years of teaching and public examination experience. Every year, students get A-level and A * scores
✧ Unlike foreign teachers, we understand Chinese parents and students are concerned about the examination performance. Therefore, we will conduct a lot of drilling practice and examination skill training with students to ensure that they can smoothly enter their favorite universities.

SAT/AP:
✧ Most of our teachers teach in universities and colleges, and are fully capable of assisting students to cope with AP courses that are essentially first-year degree courses in many countries.

DSE:
✧ Many of our teachers are top students of HKAL and HKCEE, and have 10-20 years of experience in teaching related subjects. Most are also examiners for public examinations. They fully understand the test requirements and know how to help students get a score of 5 * 5 **.
